Spring Limited Goshuin at Gyoda Hachiman Shrine, Saitama
Gyoda Hachimangu Shrine in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture, is pleased to present its Spring Limited Goshuin, available from February 21.
This special goshuin expresses the gentle arrival of spring in Japan.

Against a background of fully blooming cherry blossoms, colorful spring flowers—sakura (cherry blossoms), azalea, and nemophila—are delicately depicted using multi-color embossed foil techniques. A golden chrysanthemum crest, symbolizing dignity and sacredness, adds a refined brilliance to the design.

At the lower part of the goshuin, a pair of doves, messengers of the Hachiman deity, are softly outlined in gold foil. Doves represent peace, harmony, and good relationships, making this goshuin especially meaningful as a prayer for happiness and well-being.
This is not just a stamp, but a sensory goshuin—designed to be enjoyed through sight and touch. The raised foil details catch the light beautifully, changing their expression depending on the viewing angle.
According to the shrine, the goshuin has been very popular since its release, with many visitors appreciating its elegant and spring-like atmosphere.
